As treasurer, I’ve remained committed to running my office with the same discipline and attention to detail that I used during my years as a business leader in Pennsylvania.  I think you’ll be pleased with the results.

During our first term, we weathered one of the worst global economic downturns in history and still generated more than $1.4 billion in revenue through smart investment strategies.  At the same time, we did more with less by reducing our operating budget by 22 percent, including a reduction in staffing and automobile fleet sizes.

Earning more and spending less have made the treasurer’s office a profit center for Pennsylvania during tough times, and that’s helping get our economy back on track.  That’s something of which we’re very proud.
